As we all know, the best Xbox 360 games are the games that don't exist Smile but really the best Xbox 360 is Halo 3. It is a HALO game. Nuff said. Smile

That's an extremely difficult choice, as each game is fantastic in it's own right. I love each game to bits, and have spent many hours with every game listed in the poll. However, a decision must be made, and i chose Grand Theft Auto IV.

Obviously, it's all just opinions, so there isn't a 'right' answer, but i definately got the most out of GTA IV. The fantastic story telling, mixed with mind blowing cut scenes and character development, really make this game what it is. As you watch Niko progress through his tough life in Liberty City, you see him experience all sorts of emotions. Anger, sympathy, sadness, fear, empathy, and so the list could go on. What i'm trying to say, is that Rockstar games have created a single player experience like no other, and have once again set the mark for sandbox games. Their choice to implement a cover system really payed off, and it really felt organic. Being able to drive a car up to a mission objective, then have it provide cover from the enemy gunfire really opened up strategy opportunities for various missions.

What's more, the multiplayer is (in my opinion) fantastic. Being a huge GTA fan, anyway, i was amazed that i was able to roam the streets of Liberty City with up to 15 friends. The only limit was our imagination. I have spent many, many hours playing free mode alone, and many more with 'Deathmatch', or 'Race'. There is really something for everybody when it comes to the multiplayer.

The icing on the cake, was the downloadable episodes. First game 'The Lost And Damned', was released in February 2009, which was amazing. It allowed you to experience Liberty City through a tough as nails biker. The storys of each character crossed over at certain points, which really made it feel like a living, breathing world, with many things going on at once. Johnny Klebitz is a simple man. He just wants revenge, and to eliminate enemies. The plot thickens and really is interesting, and the last mission, especially, is fantastic but i won't give any spoilers.

The next (and last) downloadable episode was 'The Ballad Of Gay Tony' which was released on October 29th 2009. Once again, Rockstar managed to give a whole new experience, using the same streets that we'd been walking for over a year and a half. This time we got to experience the glamorous life of Liberty City. Luis Lopez (the protaganist), is a security guard, and very good friend, of Tony Prince. The story is a lot less serious as it was in the original GTA IV, and TLAD, and it aimed to end the GTA IV saga with a bang. It certainly succeeded. The addition of parachutes, armored tanks, grenade launchers, new helicopters, new cars, and even a golden uzi made the experience unforgettable on it's own.

I could go on forever about the phenomenon that is GTA IV, but it would take days of typing. I really cannot stress how amazing this game is. It was awarded 10/10 by IGN and Gametrailers, and even Gamespot upon release, and while some argue that it was bias reviewers caught up by the hype, i agree with them. This game really does have the full package.

Thanks for reading my short review-y type thing.

Fun: L4D2 - L4D but upgraded. Great fun to play, I've got it for the PC which is mad fun. I mean, if I think it's boring and then I play it usually ends up in me laughing hysterically.
Teamwork: Halo 3. I play a lot of MLG so i know how teamwork based this game is. You have to be at the top of your game to win, if you take your mind off for a second, you're dead. Plus it makes for some great fun too, Action Sack and Infection customs.

IMO, GTA IV and MW2 are/were boring. GTA didn't catch my attention as much as Vice City or San Andreas did, although the driving was pretty fun. MW2's campaign was good (Cheers YTM for the Let's Plays haha), but the Multiplayer is horrible. It's more catered to the less skilled players and playing defensively to the point of camping. Of course you can run and gun, but it doesn't work. The maps are too big and compared to CoD4, MW2 multiplayer has lost the fun out of it. I like Semtex, Pro perks, Some of the new guns (ACR, Vector) and the smaller maps play well.

Never played Borderland and I assume i'm missing out. Never played AC or AC2 but watching videos AC2 looks intense. If I didn't want my CoD4 back so much I'd be tempted to get AC2.

Good choice, RuleThree. I agree that MW2's multiplayer is not amazing, but i find it enjoyable. I strongly disagree about GTA IV, but the thing about gaming is that it's all opinionated. You can't really argue about which game is 'better' (unless it is a sequel or an easily comparable game). I could spend hours telling you about how GTA IV is incredible, but it's no use if you just don't get on with it. I agree with L4D, it's far more comical than its predecessor, and a lot more fun to play. I can never play L4D2 without at least smiling.

Assassins Creed 2. It is a totlay different kind of game than the others (besides Borderlands) and imo is the best kind of game that exists (fantastic story, FUN gameplay, adventurous, etc.) The only thing it lacks from the other games is multiplayer, which I'm not huge on.
