Favourite Music Genres and Artists?

Hey there, guys. I was just wondering what music the FMF guys listen to?

I, personally, listen to lots of stuff. Mainly a mix of old rock, such as: The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Clash, The Jam Pearl Jam, The Beatles, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols and many more.

I'm also into metal, mainly the older stuff like: 'Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Anvil, Motorhead, although i do like some modern metal.

The one genre i strongly dislike is rap, with a few exceptions. I like a few eminem songs, and a couple of Jay-z ones, but other than that, i find it a particularly dull genre..

I also like a few random modern rock/indie bands such as Kasabien, Paramore, Oasis etc..

Linkin Park are pretty awesome. I used to be really into them. Green Day are awesome aswell; i saw them live recently. I never really heard much Offspring, apart from Pretty fly, and Original Prankster. Good choices

i wish i could see one of these bands live.i know a friend who last year went to a live lincoln park concert.he recorded it and was extremly loud

I see quite a few bands live. Most of my money goes towards gaming and music
I went to Download fesitval in 2009, which is one of the biggest metal fesitvals in the UK. It was so worth the money. Freaking awesome

i dont ever really get to go to concerts but really the only time i get to get something from anywhere its from gift cards dont like spending money

I only saw Oasis once, which was at Wembley just before they split up. But 11 times?! That is serious fandom Kasabian supported, which was amazing. I like all the bands/artists that you've listed, except for Calvin Harris and Jamie T.

I was extremely close to the left side barrier. One of the friends i went with got lifted over it by a bouncer because he was being crushed. Oooh, Glastonbury, eh? I've always wanted to go, but there've never been quite enough artists that interest me enough for me to go. There's always 2 or 3 i want to see, but that i look at the full line up and realise that i'd be wasting money as i wouldn't be enjoying it to the max. Have fun getting caked in mud

I was so lucky to be able to see them before they split up. I know some friends who are fans and they said at the time: 'Ah well, i'll see them when they next tour', and BAM they split up They'll forever be remembered and their spirit will 'Live Forever' (see what i did there? XD).

3 years time it'll come out they're announcing a reunion tour, all go quiet for a couple of months, then they'll announce it, tickets e sold out in an hour. My theory

Pretty good theory. I think they probably will do a reunion tour. Brothers always argue and become friends again after a while, so they may even get back together. Who knows? Only time will tell.

THE WHO! I'm a classic rock fan, although recently I'm really into grunge and alternative rock. But I have an addiction to The Who, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Doors, and Green Day.

Yay, your music is right up my alley

I absoloutely love The Who and Roger Dultrey lives very near me which is awesome

The Doors are probably my favourite band overall, but i love Nirvana, Pink Ployd, RHCP and Foo Fighters. You probably listen to them, but Pearl Jam are an awesome mainstream grunge band. In the unlikely event that you haven't heard of them, check 'em out

I love the Doors, my dad plays it all the time. Pearl Jam, RHCP, Foo Fighters and Pink Floyd are all pretty good. Always loved Foo's and I found out about Pearl in like, 2006. And every RHCP is pretty beast.

listening to allot of Electronic music, examples: Justice, Daft Punk, UNKLE, Massive attack, Pendulum, Prodigy and Skelic.
also some rap/hip-hop, examples: Grieves, Madvillain, Aesop Rock, Nujabes, Atmosphere
