Sega vs Nintendo

ive been stuck on which i like better Nintendo or Sega
i dont know who i like better Mario or Sonic
and dont know whose games i like most although ive played a whole bunch of nintendo stuff the little sega stuff is cool to.
so which one do you like most

Sorry, Mario, but Sonic is way cooler than you
I love them both, but Sonic is a lot cooler (before the 3D games, that is).

In terms of gaming quality, it'd have to be Nintendo. Mario games continue to improve and stay fresh, despite having exactly the same goal each time. I just LOVE Sonic, though. He is my favourite character in gaming. His 3D games are awful on the whole, but Sega are working on 'Project Needlemouse', which aims to send Sonic back to his roots in a very polished 2D platformer. Hopefully it'll redeem Sonic's status of being awesome

i have to say if i could be sonic or mario i would say sonic because mario doesn't have special powers like super speed like sonic
all mario can do is grow really fast

And retain the same age and appearance for many many years. But many video game characters have that super power

i never understood that super power.why would you want to grow faster

i thinks im going to say Nintendo for this one but i still want some peoples opinions

If sega can make the next sonic game like nintendo made New mario wii, We could have a huge hit on our hands. They need to really take their time with this one. If they can make it as playable as NSMBW then it will dominate and put sega back on the map.

i agree with you if sega could do that it would be awsome.i always wanted something like that to happen for sega but from what im aware of it hasen't happend yet

Well, Segas new project, codenamed 'Project Needlemouse', is supposedly taking it right back to it's roots, and reworking it. None of this 3D crap will be involved, and it'll certainly be appriciated more by the older gamer who grew up with the original Sonic games. As of now, we don't know what platforms it'll be for, but i'm hoping for it to be an Xbox 360/Ps3 title. If not, then it'll be a Wii exclusive or a DS exclusive.

Totally, I really hope the don't rush to get it out in stores and just take their time. I know they can do it but it's jsut the hope that they WILL.
