Halo:Reach

Want to know everyones thoughts on the upcoming Halo: Reach. To anyone who hasn't seen the trailer from E3 2009, it is HERE. It is said not to be directly linked to the book "The Fall of Reach". But it is the next game from Bungie after ODST. The BR will be replaced with the DMR - Designated Marksman Rifle, kind of like a one-shot burst gun (Think of an FAL from MW2. ). A gameplay trailer of Reach will be available on February 11th, and at the first "X" Event since 2006, we'll see some gameplay there too.

I'm a huge Halo fan, and i know Hugh is aswell, so i'm so looking forward to Reach. If they still have Infection as a custom game then I may have to jizz :D:D

looks epic, really excited for this, and everything looks crisp and just flawless. let's hope it is
oh and the beta will be released on May 3rd, for you ODST buyers. 2 days after my birthday!

what i dont get is how they are putting in new wepons because if you think about it the story is older than halo 1, 2, and 3 so unless they somehow manage to lose all thier wepons between reach and halo 1 then its kinda weird

Maybe the weapons were lost when Reach was glassed?

Halo: Reach MP Trailer

looks absolutely amazing. assassinations and the DMR look pretty sweet. Not feeling the jetpacks/loadouts though.

Thoughts?

i think jet packs will be great. it will put fight the on different levels. i suppose people might lunge on you from behind. i dont know we will have to see.
