Mass Effect 2 has landed

So guys, Mass Effect 2 has been officially launched in the US. Unfortunately for me, i live in the UK and we get it on Friday. My Collectors Edition has been dispatched and i'm very excited. Has anybody else here preordered/played it yet? If so, what are your first impressions? Anybody else excited as i am? Thanks

If I didn't need a new xbox and a hard drive i'd be getting this. it looks beast, i didn't play ME1 but I sure wanna play ME2.

not to double-post, but I got an xbox today along with ME2, and i have to say, this is an absolutely fantastic game. graphics are pretty good and from what i've played from the storyline, it's gripping and intense. buy this game now, it's worth it.

I agree fully with this statement. I got the Collectors Edition on Thursday and i've put 17 hours into it so far. It's the reason I haven't been posting much on the forums. I'm very near the end of game, but i'm going to do some more side missions and farm some resources so i can fully upgrade my ship. It is truly amazing. I recommend it to anybody with either an Xbox 360 or a decent enough PC.

Wow, so i just finished ME2 this morning. It was amazing. Seriously amazing. Almost speechlessly amazing. It's not as indepth in terms of customization as the first game, but the story is a lot better, the dialogue options are a lot more vast, the combat is almost as good as Gears Of Wars, the characters are way better and the side missions feel like real missions and not just dodgy tacked on missions. And most importantly, the last mission is EPIC There are so many possible outcomes.

I could delve deeper into why this game is so good, but you'll have to experience it for yourselves.
