Alan Wake opinions?

Hey, guys. I don't know if anyone here has heard of Alan Wake, but it's a game that's been in development for years (and i mean 4 or 5 years). The gameplay was first shown at E3, in this video. I think it certainly looks very promising, but not particularly original. The story idea is fairly new and original, but the gameplay looks a bit like a Silent Hill rip off.

If you want to know more about the game, then the Official Website is a pretty good place to start. It's a 360 exclusive. What do you guys think about this game? Thanks

Can't wait to play this game xD, looks so good. Graphics wise etc. From what I've heard it also has a great story line. Really is my sort of game xD

Aaah, nice to see someone else you at least knows about this game XD

It seems to be under the radar at the moment, and has lost a lot of fans from the contant delays and lack of information. I have to agree with you about the story and graphics. It looks like it could be genuinely awesome, and not just a Silent Hill clone, or another crap attempt at reviving the survival horror genre (Alone In The Dark, i'm looking at you!). I just hope it's released this year some time. Let's just hope it's as good as it looks

I love the whole setting of it. It's a bit different from the usual video game. Really really looking forward to this.

Definately. Let's just hope we get an exact release date soon. It better come out this year, or there'll be blood.. Lot's of blood...
